Know Before You Go

The Cherokee County Museum mission is to preserve regional history and cultural heritage. This museum is known for its local artifacts, especially Revolutionary War history. The beautiful Event Hall and newly renovated foyer is perfect for event rentals like weddings, reunions, birthdays, and business meetings. The Cherokee County Museum was recently known as the Cherokee County History & Arts Museum and may still appear in some places by that name.

Operating Hours

They are closed on Sundays & Mondays. Open Tuesday - Friday 10AM - 4PM and Saturdays 10AM-2PM. They are closed on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
