Fort Nonsense if one of four sites that compose Morristown National Historical Park. Atop a hill, it functioned as a defensive observation post for those encamped at Morristown.
No longer a defensive outlook, trees have now grown all along the hill, obscuring some of the fort's original sightlines. However, one can look upon modern Morristown, seeing how the fort's positioning protected the Continentals who once were encamped in the surrounding areas.
