Visiting The Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn is a beautiful, peaceful experience. The 478-acre grounds are vast and not on a grid. Be sure to grab a paper map or download one to your phone, wear comfortable shoes for the hilly, winding paths, and arrive at the Main Entrance near the 25th Street subway station.
The Cemetery’s Main Entrance at Fifth Avenue and 25th Street is currently open every day from 7am to 7pm.
Admission to Green-Wood and the Green-House is always free.
