Traveling Exhibition at the Hays House

The Governor William Paca Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Battlefield Trust are pleased to present the American Revolution Experience at the Hays House from July 3 to 9, 2026.
The innovative pop-up exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation.
Hours of Operation
The exhibit is open during the following hours:
- Fri, July 3 | 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Sat, July 4 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Mon -Tue, July 6-7 | 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Wed - Thu, July 8-9 | 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

- July 4 | Children's Games and Activities at the Hays House
- July 8, 6:00 p.m. | Sharing the Spirit of America-Public reading of the Declaration of Independence. America 250 National Event celebrating the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence.
- July 9, 1:30 p.m. & 5:00 p.m. | Story Time: Her Name Was Mary Katharine: The Only Woman Whose Name Is on the Declaration of Independence (Children's Activities)
