Traveling Exhibition at the History Center, Historical Society of Harford County

The Governor William Paca Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Battlefield Trust are pleased to present the American Revolution Experience at the History Center, Historical Society of Harford County from July 11 to 20, 2026.

The innovative pop-up exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation.

Hours of Operation

The exhibit is open during the following hours:

• Mon - Tue | 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Wed | 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Thu - Sat | 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

• July 11 (All Day) | The Harford County Militia and the Revolutionary War: Learn about the Militia during the war-training, dress, and weapons. Col Aquila Hall SAR (Adults and Children)
• July 13, 2:00 p.m. | Harford's Heroes: The Bush Declaration: At the Risk of Our Lives and Fortunes. Speaker: Sandi Wallis 
• July 15, 5:00 p.m. | Harford's Heroes: The Battle of Brooklyn, August 1776. Speaker: Sandi Wallis
• July 16, 11:00 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. | Story Time: Revolutionary Mary: The True Story of One Woman, the Declaration of Independence, and America's Fight for Freedom (Children's Activities)
• July 18 (All Day) | The Harford County Militia and the Revolutionary War: Learn about the Militia during the war-training, dress, and weapons. Col Aquila Hall SAR (Adults and Children)
