Traveling Exhibition at the Ohio Statehouse

The Mathias Ridenhour & Franklinton Chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Capitol Square Review & Advisory Board, and the American Battlefield Trust are pleased to present the American Revolution Experience at the Ohio Statehouse from July 17 to 23, 2026.
The innovative pop-up exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation.
Hours of Operation
The exhibit is open during the following hours:
- Mon - Fri | 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Sat - Sun | 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Special Events/Exhibits
- Mapping the American Revolution Exhibit
- Exhibit featuring original 18th c. surveying equipment, located on the ground floor in the Map Room.
- The American Freedom Train Exhibit
- Exhibit highlighting the bicentennial journey of the American Freedom Train in 1976 with items from the train's journey and photographs taken by Warren Motts, located in the Governor's (North) Hallway.
