Located on the Princeton Battlefield, this home served as a field hospital in the wake of the battle. At this site, Patriot officer Hugh Mercer died while in care from fatal wounds sustained during the decisive engagement.
The Thomas Clarke House was acquired by the state of New Jersey in 1940. Today, it stands as a part of the landscape surrounding the Battle of Princeton site, which is 85 acres and is managed by the New Jersey State Park Service.

Wednesday - Saturday from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Admission is free to the public.
