Event Description

Come celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a bilingual bird walk! We will take a nature walk, talk about what makes Jamaica Bay such a great place for birds, and we will give you the tools to learn the basics of bird identification and appreciation. This walk will be lead in both English and in Spanish. Spanish speakers are especially welcomed to join us for this walk.

Caminaremos sobre un sendero, hablaremos acerca de que hace que la Bahia de Jamaica sea un lugar ideal para las aves, y te ofreceremos las herramientas para apreciar y aprender sobre estos animales. Este programa se ofrecerá en español e inglés. Hispanohablantes están especialmente bienvenidos a participar en este programa.
