General Herkimer Marker (August 5) at Utica, New York. This marker, replaced in 2008 by Oneida Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, is one of a series of markers along the 40-mile route taken by the relief column commanded by Nicholas Herkimer as it marched towards the besieged Fort Stanwix. 

It is in Utica, New York on Whitesboro Street east of Burchard Lane, on the left when traveling east. This historical marker is located in the downtown district, near the Mohawk Riverfront area, close to where North Genesee Street begins to start to cross the river.
