Know Before You Go

The lower park includes 13 historic buildings, such as McConkey's Ferry Inn, and a barn with replica Durham boats used in annual reenactments of Washington’s 1776 crossing. The upper park, 4.5 miles away in Solebury Township, features the Thompson-Neely House, Bowman's Hill Tower, and soldier graves from the encampment. Some remains were unearthed during 19th-century construction, and 23 memorial headstones now mark the site. Together, the parks preserve key landmarks from the Revolutionary War.
