The site of a former colonial port that thrived throughout the mid-18th century, most of the town was reportedly burned down by the British in 1776
Not only is Brunswick town home to Colonial period ruins, but also Civil War-era Confederate earthworks. One can walk the trails that wind through both the ruins and the extensive fortifications.
