Forgotten Victory Trail kiosk in Veterans Memorial Honor Roll Park

Forgotten Victory Trail

The Forgotten Victory Trail kiosk brings the June 1780 campaign into a public space already dedicated to military remembrance. Near the church and the roads through old Connecticut Farms, it provides an orientation point for the battle, Hannah Caldwell’s death, and the resistance that continued toward Springfield. The story here includes Continental soldiers, local and county militia, Black servicemen, and civilians caught between advancing armies. Visitors can use the kiosk to connect the surrounding streets to the historic village, then continue to the church and Caldwell Parsonage. The park also gives the community a place to explain why these events remain part of Union’s identity.
